Advanced Technology
ABC has always been technically advanced and was a leader in promoting impedance measurement as a valued method of testing VRLA batteries in the 1990’s.

However, a combination of voltage, impedance and capacity testing has always been used because impedance testing alone can not guarantee finding 100% of battery failure mechanisms. The introduction of Frequency Response Analysis (FRA) into monitoring regimes is the latest step towards 100% detection of failing cells.

As technology improves ABC’s policy is to evaluate and employ the most advanced monitoring systems available, supporting its claim to offer the most sophisticated commercially available battery maintenance programmes for critical VRLA standby battery systems.

Battery management services include the supply and installation of fixed battery monitors and environmental monitoring systems.
