Printers
Brilliant colour printouts, faster than ever before. Panasonic’s two new colour laser printers, the KX-CL500 and KX-CL510 bring high quality, high speed colour printing to the office thanks to the innovative Single Pass Tandem Technology with 16 A4 pages per minute in colour and 20 pages in black and white, with an impressive print resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi.

Ideal for offices where a high number of printouts are required, the compact KX-CL500 and PostScript Printer KX-CL510 also benefit from a new induction heat procedure which reduces the warm-up time to only 45 seconds after switching on, 15 seconds later the first print out is made.

The innovative Tandem Technology revolutionises fast colour printing. Usually paper has to pass by the printing unit four times successively to be printed with a different colour each time, but with Panasonic’s new Tandem Technology four printing units print on the paper in one step. Therefore, printing jobs are done four times as fast as with traditional colour printers.

Faxes
Document Systems current line-up of fax machines include the ‘Mini Office’ (KX-FLB751). With space often at premium, this small versatile machine can fax, copy, print and even scan documents, and is the ideal piece of kit that includes all the essential tools that will save you both money and hassle. Benefitting from a host of features geared towards the small business or home working environment and with network interfacing and software as standard, this multifunction machine has a scanning resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and is TWAIN compatible. The KX-FLB751 is also a flat-bed scanner, making high-quality scanning of flat documents easy, (being a flatbed design means you can scan pages from books or other bulky items).

And now you can send e-mails from your fax machine. Panasonic’s new Panafax DX-600 network fax offers a versatile solution to sending out your documents by transmitting them to their destination either by fax or e-mail. This easy to use fax machine offers simple, yet comprehensive document distribution. No computer software mediation is required. With its “Send to E-mail” feature, you can send paper documents to any e-mail address via the Internet. And thanks to the DX-600’s Super G3 fax modem, conventional faxes can be sent high-speed over telephone lines.

If you want fast, effortless communication, take a look at Panasonic’s UF-590 Panafax. This versatile machine can be used as a fax using normal paper and also as a printer, scanner and PC fax. Very user friendly due to the new A-Z QWERTY keyboard and 32 destination dialling keys, the UF-590 comes with 2 MB of document storage which can store up to 120 pages, allowing even large numbers of documents to be sent in an incredibly short amount of time.

Scanning
Panasonic Document Systems has just added two new colour duplex models to their range of scanners. Revolutionary in design, these scanners have superb paper handling and are easy to maintain. Designed for use by small to medium sized businesses, or departments within large companies, the KV-S2045C, with a scanning speed of 40 ppm B&W and 18 ppm Colour and the KV-S2025C with speeds of 22 ppm B&W and 10 ppm Colour, offer duplex colour scanning and are ideal for a wide range of applications.

These two colour duplex scanners boast two new unique features, Colour Cropping and De-skew.

Colour Cropping. When the user scans documents that consist of different sized papers, the size of scanned images becomes large and takes up a lot of storage. With colour cropping different sized documents can be scanned and each document will be stored at exactly the same size as the original, eliminating storage wastage and the users’ time.

De-Skewing. Sometimes when documents are scanned that aren’t arranged regularly, or have different thickness, they may become slanted or scanned crooked. The De-Skewing feature detects the slant of the scanned document and automatically corrects it, giving a readable scanned image.
