The only way is up for PHS Recordsmanagement following its recent acquisition of Scottish secure document storage company, Datasafe. Having spent several years creating comprehensive coverage in Central and Southern England, PHS Recordsmanagement has now turned its attention northwards. Internal promotion and recruitment of new team members during this growth will provide the Secure Document Storage and Data Management Company with the experience and enthusiasm required for continuing consistent high levels of customer care. Newly promoted to the role of PHS Recordsmanagement’s National Sales Manager, Ted Reynolds is tasked with maintaining the excellent service levels. “Many suppliers within the Document Management industry offer similar, prescriptive services,” says Ted. “What sets PHS Recordsmanagement ahead of our competition is that we really listen to our customers’ requirements. “The secret to being the best is to provide a consistently high level of service. Our sales team are highly trained so they can confidently pass on their expertise to our clients rather than sell a ‘one size fits all’ solution.” Ted’s team has also been enhanced by the recruitment of new Regional Manager, Helen Laity and the promotion of Jan Taylor to Key Accounts Manager. Jan Taylor’s experience in the Records Management industry is invaluable to the Division. The recruitment of the new Business Development Executive Ian Davis in Birmingham will allow Jan will work closely with clients of recent acquisitions to ensure a seamless transition into the PHS client family. Helen will be based at the PHS Recordsmanagement site in Gloucester and brings with her a wealth of experience gained from management roles with blue-chip companies in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. As a keen sports fan and rugby player, Helen will most definitely be putting her staff through their paces as she contributes to PHS Recordsmanagement’s customer-focussed service. The new acquisition can only enhance the service that is available to PHS Recordsmanagement clients in Scotland. Datasafe has already built a respected reputation as a leading document and magnetic media storage supplier with an established client base including government agencies, banks, health authorities and the aviation industry. It boasts the largest purpose-built Recordsmanagement facility in Scotland. Businesses of all sizes throughout central Scotland currently benefit from Datasafe’s convenient location in East Kilbride allowing easy access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling as well as towns and cities towards the border. PHS Recordsmanagement’s investment ensures that its newest depot will continue to play a major role in the Scottish document management market, providing state of the art, securely monitored storage premises. CCTV, VESDA fire systems and security vetted staff, which are common to all PHS Recordsmanagement sites, mean that Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards are in place throughout. Ted Reynolds joined PHS Recordsmanagement in 2011 but began working in document storage and management in 1994, helping to build success for one of the major players in the industry. In his new role as National Sales Manager he will continue to be part of the development that is pushing PHS Recordsmanagement to the top of the market. On the rare occasion that he isn’t on the road visiting clients or sharing his know-how with PHS Recordsmanagement colleagues, Ted enjoys relaxing amongst the vineyards of Tuscany. It is very much a case of onwards and upwards for PHS Recordsmanagement. As part of its national expansion program, PHS Recordsmanagement is aiming to provide all businesses throughout the UK with easy access to quality record storage facilities and outstanding service. “There is so much more we can get involved with other than hard copy physical archive storage,” states Ted. “Forms processing, data capture, mail room operations, electronic document hosting and scanning on demand are all areas that PHS Recordsmanagement is developing as comprehensive service provision for our customers.”
