Schwank Recommends Heating System Upgrades For Energy Efficiency Drive

The company estimates that upgrading from a Schwank previous system could reduce the gas input of a business by up to 50%.

Steve Sherman, Managing Director of Schwank UK, explained that users of the Schwank 600 or 2000 series heating systems have benefited from the best in gas fired infrared heating systems available at the time.

“However, technology has moved on and the modern supraSchwank systems can now almost halve energy consumption compared to our older models,” he said.

For instance, a 21kw heater from the 600/2000 series is equivalent in performance to an 11.5kw supraSchwank, hence a reduction of 45%.
