Sodexo appoints new HR director
Sodexo, a leading provider of on-site service solutions, has appointed Angela Williams as HR director for Sodexo UK and Ireland. Angela‘s previous experience has included; HR Director at British Gas/Centrica; Group HR Director for Land Securities Group PLC; and European HR Director for Electronic Arts Ltd, where she was responsible for HR across 16 countries. She has also worked internationally with the Walt Disney Company, B.H. Blackwell Ltd and Exxon Mobil PLC. Angela is also currently a Non-Executive Director with FirstCare Ltd and Central and Cecil Housing Trust and a member of the CBI Employment and Skills Board. On Angela’s appointment, Debbie White, Chief Executive, Sodexo UK and Ireland said: “Angela comes with great experience from a number of roles that will make her a fantastic asset to Sodexo.” Angela said; “I am delighted to be joining Sodexo, a truly global company that has a clear vision for the future. I look forward to being a part of the Company’s on-going development, working as part of the global HR leadership team delivering excellence for our customers and providing an engaging and motivating workplace for our employees.” Angela will take up her new position at Sodexo at the beginning of May.
