Steelcase To Showcase Wellbeing At Clerkenwell Design Week

The importance of employees’ wellbeing at work will be the theme of Steelcase’s exhibition during this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week.

The exhibition, entitled THREE, will explore the three aspects of wellbeing in the workplace with a series of talks on wellbeing –focusing on the physical, psychological and cognitive.

THREE will also serve as the launch event for two of Steelcase’s newest products, B-Free and Ology.

Ology is the first Steelcase product to be designed and manufactured with the option of antimicrobial components that inhibit the growth of micro-organisms and prevent the spreading of harmful bacteria.

B-Free is an innovative range of furniture that transforms ‘in between’ spaces in offices and is designed to be casual yet creative, reflecting the many informal ways of working adopted by 21st Century office workers.

The lunchtime seminars will be spread across the next three days and will include:

• Tuesday 20th May, 12.45pm: Steelcase’s Design Director John Small will discuss how design can support and encourage wellbeing in the workplace • Wednesday 21st May, 1pm: Join Steelcase for our new research seminar to find out why wellbeing is a bottom line issue • Thursday 22nd May, 1pm: Leading interior design trends forecasters ScarletOpus will explore the latest and future interior trends designed to foster wellbeing The Steelcase London Work Life, which has been divided into three areas for the occasion – a wellness gallery, a theatre experience and a product applications area – will be open each day between 10am and 5pm, where attendees will have the opportunity to explore and experience Steelcase’s new products and applications.
