Two new appointments at Sodexo Property Solutions

Sodexo, a leading provider of on-site service solutions, has made two new appointments within its Sodexo Property Solutions division, with Alan Barratt and Andrew Farrar joining as head of supply chain consult and head of projects, respectively. Alan Barratt leads a team which offers a ‘best in class’ Supply Chain Management service for Sodexo Property Solutions’ customers, ranging from strategic advice to strategic sourcing and procurement; all followed up by on-going operational management to create control and innovation. Customers benefit from a valuable supply chain which is aligned to their business needs, improving their UK operations and helping them to move those operations to a European or global platform. He joins from Barratt & Co Consultancy where he was managing director, the consultancy assists clients in the development of low-cost, country sourcing from China and India. Alan has over 25 years experience which has seen him develop procurement solutions in the UK, across Europe and more recently BRIC markets. Andrew Farrar has been appointed to lead a team to develop a projects shared service across Sodexo, building the infrastructure needed to deliver truly integrated facilities management. Andrew joins from CBRE where he headed up the UK Nestle account, previously he has held senior roles within large corporate service providers such as Sulzer Infra & Mowlem (now Carillion), where he managed HSBC properties.
