Top class cost-effective service is key to business growth for Europa Europa, a leading support services provider, has reported a number of significant new business opportunities within the public sector. These developments further strengthen the company’s strong performance going into the latter part of 2010. Despite challenging economic times, the public sector continues to be a key area of growth and opportunity for the company. To reinforce this, Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services, has recently announced it has awarded Europa a place on its NHS Building and Engineering Maintenance Services framework agreement. This follows previous confirmation of a place on another Buying Solutions framework agreement for Facilities Management Services. Europa was one of eight companies included on the framework which covers all FM services from single service to total facilities management procurement and can be accessed by any public sector authority. The Facilities Management Services framework agreement is for 4 years. Dr David Cox, Managing Director for Europa’s public division, explains, “Our public sector business has gone from strength to strength this past year. We’re happy to be developing new opportunities and continuing much valued relationships with existing clients. The framework agreement awards are pivotal to the development of our public sector business. They provide us with access to a wider range, and number, of prospects and we are already seeing many opportunities from it. We are extremely well-placed to deliver cost effective solutions for the public sector focused on reducing costs and, at the same time, improving service” Europa attributes its growth to a priority on delivering quality customer service experiences, through a committed workforce, despite the demands of a challenging economic environment. Validation of that achievement is proven through the many awards the company has won this year including RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Award for the second year, and three Green Apple Awards for environmental performance in Furniture Management and Waste Management. Greig Brown, Chief Executive for Europa says, “We are extremely pleased with business performance from last year and for the first half of 2010. Our new business opportunities have been very healthy, and we’re satisfied with our continued revenue growth. The quality of our people and management teams means we have many exciting opportunities to develop which leaves me confident of sustaining our future growth in the public sector”
