Steelcase Score At Neocon

Steelcase, global leaders in the office interiors industry, was awarded five ‘Best of NeoCon’ Awards last week at NeoCon, one of the world’s most prestigious trade fairs for interior design and facilities management. The ‘Best of NeoCon’ Awards recognise the top new products introduced at the show. Mark Spragg, Steelcase Vice President, Northern Europe said. “We are thrilled to have been so successful at NeoCon, an event that we see as very influential in our industry. Steelcase products strive to be innovative, practical and appealing. To have won five awards at NeoCon this year reinforces to us that we are designing and manufacturing products that do just that.” Steelcase was awarded one Gold award for RoomWizard, the first web-based scheduling system, in the Workplace Technologies category. RoomWizard has been designed to help schedule and manage meeting spaces to make better use of time with a focus to be more mobile and connected to the workplace. Two silver awards were received, one for FlexFrame workwall, in the Files and Storage category as well as receiving a silver award for Topo by Coalesse, Steelcase’s premium life/work furnishings division, in the Furniture Systems category. FlexFrame workwall is a wall-mounted, frame-based system that can be used in any space plan. The Topo collection is a new series of freestanding components that is easy to install and provides a fresh and clean finish which, has been designed to maximise space. Node, a classroom chair, received an Innovation Award in the Education Solutions category. The chair has been designed for easy transitions between lectures and group work and encourages group discussions and active learning. Steelcase won another Innovation Award for SW_1 by Coalesse. SW_1 is a collection of collaborative tables that support social and collaborative activities.
