New Evolis Primacy Now Available from DED Limited

15th May 2012. The new Evolis Primacy is a flexible, high-end single or dual sided ID card printer that is easy-to-use and fast. Loaded with Evolis cutting-edge encoding technology, Primacy is the ideal solution for issuing cards in a variety of environments. Ideal for medium to large runs of card printing, the Primacy is the perfect option to deliver a multitude of cards such as transportation passes, payment cards, identification badges, and many more. Print speed on the Primacy is unmatched with colour cards printable in a record time of up to 210 cards per hour for one side, and 140 cards per hour for dual-sided printing. Primacy is the very first printer in its category to offer this level of performance. Thanks to the 100 card capacity input and output hopper, Primacy can be left to do a print job on its own with the minimum of fuss. The card hoppers are conveniently located at the front of the printer so can be accessed easily and monitored at a glance. Highly modular and configurable, the Primacy can be either single or dual sided; the dual-sided option can be activated on-site if required. This flexible printer can also be fitted with magnetic and contact/contactless encoding as and when the need arises. Ribbons are available in a cassette system that can easily be dropped into the printer to facilitate easy handling and loading – each ribbon is automatically set and identified With energy consumption 5 times lower on average than printers from the previous generation, Primacy is a printer designed with the environment in mind.
