Mitsubishi Electric has announced the launch of its latest air-source chillers and heat pumps, developed by the company’s Italian factory. The new range offers an R32 air-cooled chiller (the MECH-iS-G07) and an R32 air source reversible heat pump (the MEHP-iS-G07). Both are manufactured to the exacting standards of quality associated with the company’s Mitsubishi Electric Quality (MEQ), produced in Italy for the first time.

Head of Sustainability for Mitsubishi Electric, Martin Fahey is joining a special webinar at 4pm on Clean Air Day 2021 (17th June) to focus on what companies should be doing to reduce their own impact on the environment. “Like all companies we are looking at what we can do to reduce carbon across the board and we are also starting the journey to look at the embedded carbon in our products,” he explains, “We felt it was important to join this online forum so that we can appeal to anyone, no matter where they are in the carbon-reduction journey – and learn lessons from each other.”
Mitsubishi Electric has launched its new Plasma Quad Connect air purifier for improved indoor air quality. The bolt-on device can neutralise six key indoor pollutants, as well as inhibit 99.8% of SARS-CoV-2 [i]. Plasma Quad Connect can be bolted on to Mitsubishi Electric’s air conditioning for both new and existing indoor units across the M Series, Mr Slim and City Multi ranges.
