Businesses are being urged to ‘act quickly’ and turn their waste into revenue as cardboard prices in the UK hit new heights. According to figures from letsrecycle.com, cardboard prices are at their highest since their records began 20 years ago, with dry bales of cardboard commanding between £120 and £138 per tonne at UK mills in July 2021. That is a 50-60% increase from January 2021, where bales could reach between £73-£92 per tonne.

The phs apprenticeship programmes are designed to nurture talent, upskill individuals within the company and boost career progression. A recent survey about how Covid-19 has affected perceptions of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace shows that confidence is low in these early stages of businesses getting back to work. The survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Kimberly-Clark Professional™ – showed that three out of four people in the UK do not feel safe going back to the workplace*, while 86% said they would avoid a location if they didn’t think it was Covid secure*.
