Stylish ceilings from Knauf AMF to feature at Surface Design Show

Knauf AMF understands the importance of good ceiling design in creating high quality interiors, which is why they will be exhibiting some of their latest ceiling innovations at the 2013 Surface Design Show, being held from 5-7 February at the Business Design Centre in London. Amongst the highlights will be a range of stunning new products including Heradesign, Thermatex Varioline and Sonic Element. Heradesign is an exciting range of wood wool ceilings that deliver quality acoustics with an exceptional appearance. The stable surface structure is perfectly suited for creative design and colouring, and an almost unlimited range of colours is available – practically every tone from popular systems such as RAL, NCS, BS or StoColor can be chosen. Heradesign panels can be suspended in a traditional ceiling, or used as a ceiling raft for areas where additional acoustic control is required, or where a suspended ceiling isn’t practical. Individual panels can also be hung as baffles, or even wall mounted, offering a truly flexible design solution with almost limitless possibilities. Knauf AMF’s Thermatex Varioline offers an innovative way to create atmosphere in any room. Available in Wood, Metal and customised print effects with both tile and plank formats and also with shadow edge details, these new mineral tiles offer great design flexibility. They allow the creation of minimalistic elegant ceilings with a cosy, friendly ambience, offering a variety of choice. Thermatex Sonic Element rafts are an ideal solution for areas where high-class design is essential, such as foyers, reception areas, restaurants and modern office environments. They combine strong design and acoustic performance, with subtle fixings and frameless, solid edges that deliver elegant simplicity, making the raft appear like a floating sail. Knauf AMF will also be exhibiting it’s new range of wall absorbers, including Line Classic – a modular wall absorber system for large surfaces, with individual panels up to 3.75m long. It is available in both fleece-covered and metal panels, with concealed edge details. For areas requiring a more bespoke solution, choose from Line Modern, a mineral fibre tile, or Line Style, a fabric-covered panel, both set in an elegant aluminium frame. The standard white panels of Line Modern can also be made in any colour or pattern, while Line Style can be fully customised with your choice of patterns or images.
