Overview Leeds Metropolitan University has been a chartered university since 1992. Originally established in 1824 as the Leeds Mechanics Institute, a series of mergers with nearby colleges led to the formation of Leeds Polytechnic before it acquired its present name. The university’s primary campus is in Leeds, West Yorkshire and it also has a campus in nearby Harrogate.
Prince Recycling Ltd. has been in the business of waste management from the early 1960s beginning as Prince Salvage of Grays, Essex. They moved to Great Dunmow in 1976 as Stansted Container Services Ltd. In 1991 it was decided to move to larger premises so land and buildings were purchased at High Roding on the outskirts of Great Dunmow.
