Being Healthy Conference: Speakers Announced

AVEX (NEC Hall 3): June 12th 2013 10am – 12.30pm 24Vend has announced a strong line up for speakers for its Being Healthy Conference to be held on June 12th at AVEX. The range and quality of speakers reflects the significant growth there has been in the demand for healthy products in vending and the excellent opportunities there are for this sector going forwards. The speakers include both vending operators and food manufacturers from across the UK and from America. Jim English from the US company Sprout Retail will be explaining how vending is now integrated into large wellness initiatives in the States – a real indication of how the vending landscape is changing there. Gillian White, 24Vend’s Founder and Conference Chair, believes the success of healthy vending in the US is further evidence of the potential for the whole vending channel in the UK. “In America as in this country, health issues such as the obesity crisis are fuelling the drive for change. Consumers too, are actively seeking a greater choice of healthy eating food and drink from vending.
