Brammer Buck & Hickman, the UK’s leading supplier of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services, has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Building Materials and Equipment RM6157 Framework Lot 7, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Brammer Buck & Hickman is one of just 18 suppliers that has been awarded supplier status for Lot 7.
CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
Commenting on this recent announcement, Graham Mathews, Brammer Buck & Hickman’s National Key Account Manager, Crown Commercial Service, said: “As public sector services continue to maintain a COVID-19 secure workplace, we are delighted to be able to offer government and public sector customers – including emergency services, education, local and central government, and the health sector – with quick and easy access to our PPE products, including workwear, first aid kits, eye, head, hand & footwear protection.
“This appointment acknowledges our expertise and industry-leading position in the market and gives the public sector and related entities access to our PPE portfolio. We are delighted that our capabilities have been recognised by the government and are looking forward to working with customers to help deliver quality products and solutions.”
Brammer Buck & Hickman has created a new landing page – https://uk.rubix.com/en/ccs – on its website, which provides an overview of the products supplied under this new framework. This is broken down into four key areas: emergency services, education, health, and local government. Details are also included of how to set up a CSS account with the company.
CCS Framework Alliance Contracts provide customers in the public sector with a choice and flexibility, reduced procurement costs, a quick route to market, and a competitive range of supplies.
