CDI, in partnership with renowned institutions including Manchester Metropolitan University, The University of Manchester, Salford University, Lancaster University and several regional colleges, seeks to catalyse innovation in the North of England, mainly focusing on Greater Manchester. The program is a launchpad for businesses in emerging fields, providing vital resources and fostering growth in various technological sectors.

As part of this initiative, Counting King has been brought on board to lend its expertise in R&D tax relief and champion technology within the region. The company will be pivotal in assisting partner companies with their R&D functions, ensuring they can access the full spectrum of financial support opportunities available.

These claims, totalling over £40 million, have led to direct payments from HMRC or significant reductions in end-of-year tax bills.
