It would seem that Glen Dimplex Heating & Ventilation’s (GDHV) commitment to helping installers stay informed knows no bounds, as the business’ two new state-of-the-art training vans have already clocked up almost 30,000 miles since May 2019.
Earlier this year the industry leader invested significantly in launching two new liveried vans, full of training equipment, in a bid to provide tailored, expert training to installers all over the country – as and when they need it.
Amid ongoing industry changes, GDHV’s expert, ‘on hands’ training prospectus has been specifically designed to help installers to manage the complexities of modern installations and maintain a solid understanding of the most innovative solutions. With two GDHV-branded vans kitted out with according products required for each course and members of the team on hand to give advice, installers are able to gain practical experience of fitting and using GDHV products, and how they make life easier.
To date, the vans have travelled almost 30,000 miles collectively, reaching the width and breadth of the country, and visiting locations as far north as Dornoch in the North of Scotland to locations in Devon & Cornwall, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles and pretty much most places in between.
Craig Cundey, head of product training at Glen Dimplex Heating & Ventilation, said: “Our company ethos is to make life easier for installers. Through listening to our customers we know that taking the time out to travel to one of our training centres can sometimes prove difficult, so we wanted to make it simpler by taking our expert training to them.
“Since launching this year, our bolstered mobile training capabilities have proven a resounding success, meaning customers can get the same first-hand access to our latest courses and associated products, while receiving full technical info, wherever they are based. It’s been great to get out and about and meet so many installers this year, and we already have lots in the pipeline for an even busier 2020 – so watch this space.”
