Gradus provides premium feel with enhanced safety for luxury homes

Contract interior specialist Gradus is supplyinga range of its flooring accessories and barrier matting systems to Colindale Gardens, an ongoing development of luxury townhousesand apartments in north-west London.

Once completed, Colindale Gardens will consist of more than 2,900 new homes, as well as nine acres of greenspace, shops, cafes, a gym and a concierge service. The homes have been carefully designed to maximise space and flexibility, and the interiors are complemented by a stylish and high-quality specification.

On the stairsinside the concierge building, as well as those leading down to the gym, Gradus aluminium XT stair edgings were specified to enhance the buildings’ safety and maintain a clean and contemporary aesthetic. Featuring a slip-resistant insert that extends around the leading edge of the profile, the XT rangeincreases underfoot contact with the slip-resistant element of the stair edging to offer the ultimate solution for reducing slips, trips and falls on stairs.

Designed to create an elegant, luxurious appearance, Gradus Luxury Trim System (LTS) is installed in all apartments and the gym. Ideal for medium-traffic applications, the GradusLTS range consists of solid brass tops available in six premium finishes, allowing you to choose a trim that blends in with the surrounding environment.

Ideal for use in interior locations thatare subject to medium-to-heavy foot and wheeled traffic, primary barrier matting from the Esplanade range was chosen, with Esplanade 1500 at the front doorto all the apartments and Esplanade 1000 in the main entrances to the apartment blocksand the concierge building. Both matting products help reduce the amount of tracked-in dirt andmoisture and prolong the lifecycle of the surrounding floorcoverings. Thishelps to reduce the risk of slips and trips caused by wet flooring,keepingresidents and building users safe.
