Lift expertise on show at Stannah National Sales Conference

Stannah Lift Services technical sales engineers gathered, with senior management, at The Tower Hotel in London for a three-day conference.

Peter Perry, Stannah Service Director, welcomed thirty five sales personnel from Stannah’s eleven nationwide service branches for three days of inspiration, innovation and motivation as part of the Stannah National Sales Team annual programme.

The event was driven by the National Sales Team Manager, Colin Payne and the National Business Development Manager, Ian Carter. The programme included sharing experiences, managing success and sometimes disappointment, and coaching from Stannah’s in-house Service Operations Team who are experts in all aspects of safety, quality, environmental and manufacturing standards.

Knowledge was gained through supplier presentations that showcased latest lift components and systems and a presentation from lift consultants about the rapidly changing demands of customers of the lift industry. Stannah Lift Services, Joint Managing Director, Jon Stannah joined the National Sales Team and congratulated them on a great event that set the scene for major growth in national sales.

Stannah Lift Services support their customers’ lift equipment, including escalators and moving walkways, via their UK network from which their lift engineers made more than 150,000+ planned maintenance visits and 84,000 unplanned visits in 2013. Add to this hundreds of lift refurbishments and modernisations and numerous bespoke new lift, escalator and moving walkway installations and it’s no wonder the delegates had lots to talk about! –
