Select Interiors has rebranded and is launching a new website in the wake of two years of significant growth. The design and fit out expert has taken on nine new employees, doubling its team, and has seen turnover increase by 100 per cent post Covid.
Along with wins in its regular bar, restaurant, leisure and commercial sectors, the company has also ventured into public sector fit out, completing work for Greater Manchester Police, the University of Manchester and Oldham Academy.
With significant projects due to begin – including a high specification fit out of office head quarters for an American technology chain; the complete re-brand, design and fit out of an expanding chain of coffee shops; and a two-year phased programme of refurbishment of 14,500 sq ft of commercial office space, including full, external stone cleaning and decoration in the Northern Quarter – Select is set to go from strength to strength and is currently preparing the ground for further opportunities.
Part of the marketing strategy is the launch of the new website. The company’s in-house graphics team has designed the new branding, collaborating with a diverse group of creatives, including a landscape architect, external graphic designers and other Select team members.
Managing director of Select Interiors, Carl Brown believes that after 33 years in business, ten years operating under the current banner, now is the time to effectively relaunch and reframe the business offering: “After many months of development, I feel we have a new brand that reflects what we are about: creative design with competitive turnkey concept to completion fit outs.
“We’ve done a huge amount of heritage projects, regeneration contracts and specialist work, which has enabled the team to demonstrate excellence across a wide range of disciplines, and we’re now keen to build on this portfolio and emphasise our design expertise and craftsmanship.
“We were lucky to be able to carry on working and growing through the various lockdowns and have managed to record our best figures yet in the past 18 months. The new branding and website reflects the level we are now operating at and our ambition for the future. We’ve gained some extremely talented players and the team is re-energised. We’re looking forward to the next stage of our strategic growth.”
Select Interiors launched in Manchester, almost 34 years ago, as a retail and commercial fit out contractor. Since then, the company has evolved and grown, offering a range of design and consultancy services to clients operating in a variety of sectors. It retains its loyal North West client base while continuing to grow and be recognised as a national concern.
