Sodexo has been named as the biggest facilities management provider in The Sunday Times PA Consulting Inward Investment Track 50, coming third overall in the rankings behind Asda and DHL.
The league table ranks overseas-headquartered multinationals by their UK staff number to shine a light on this important part of the economy.
With an annual turnover of over £1bn, Sodexo UK and Ireland employs more than 25,000 full-time equivalent employees across its integrated facilities management business in the corporate, healthcare, education, leisure, justice and defence sectors.
In total, Sodexo employs 35,000 people across more than 2,000 sites in the UK and Ireland, delivering services to improve quality of life for clients, customers and employees.
These integrated services, ranging from catering, cleaning and reception, to asset management, security, laboratory and grounds maintenance services, enable Sodexo’s clients to focus on their core business.

Sodexo was ranked ahead of other facilities, security and catering firms including ISS (no. 6), Securitas (no. 15), Aramark (no.33) and Servest (no. 48).
