Sodexo secures major contract with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has chosen to partner with Sodexo, the world’s largest services company, for its cleaning, portering, retail and private patient services across its five hospitals in London. The five year contract will also see Sodexo transform the Trust’s patient dining services.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country, providing services to over one million patients a year.

The five hospitals include Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital; Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital; St Mary’s Hospital and the Western Eye Hospital.

Sodexo will work with the Trust to deliver industry-leading patient dining, portering, cleaning and helpdesk services at the Trust’s five hospitals as well as the hospitality and retail services.

Sodexo will introduce a variety of restaurants and coffee shops featuring local, seasonal or sustainably grown or raised foods for staff, patients and visitors alike.

The private patients contract will see Sodexo provide the catering, cleaning, domestic and portering services for the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital; The Robert and Lisa Sainsbury Wing at Hammersmith Hospital; Stanley Clayton Ward at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital and The Thames View at Charing Cross Hospital.
